MIKE 11 Hotfix 16-07-2008

The present hotfix solves a number of issues related to MIKE 11:

  • RR Urban Model B: Calculation of infiltration in the Urban Model B used a wrong time-unit for one of the input variables and accordingly the infiltration was calculated wrong. This error has been corrected with a possibility to switch back to the former formulation through the mike11.ini file in case previous calibrated models requires this.
  • MIKE Flood: If Additional output in MIKE 11 was activated and the result-item; 'Bed Shear Stress' selected, the model stopped with an illegal operation. Work-around was to switch off the additional saving of Bed Shear Stress but now this problem has been solved.
  • MIKE 11 Stratified simulations: When water level came above embankment markers in cross sections an illegal operation could occured. Problem has been solved with a proper implemented extrapolation assuming vertical walls for water levels above top embankment markers equivalent to the standard, non-stratified mike11 simulations.
  • Hotstart problem when running hotstart using Additional hotstart result-file could result in an illegal termination for some combinations of result-items. Problem has been solved.
  • MIKE 11 Mapping feature could cause an illegal termination in situations where a connection point between branches was made very close but not exactly at a cross section location. A solution for this problem is implemented.
  • Running DA-simulations with updating timeseries starting after Start of Simulation caused an abnormal termination. Problem solved and update stations are disabled automatically.
